Coulden't see an 'events' section so I'm putting this here (because it's cultural).

I'm starting a regular Dudeist Happening (actually it's more abideist) in Shoreham-by-sea, England. this is what I thought to put on the flyer:

A heady blend of performance poetry, organic incense and whatever wine the Co-Op are selling at half price (or White Russians if you really insist).

Join us in a friendly, experi-mental, say-anything atmosphere and enjoy the excruciating tension of our winner takes all poetry slam, where your vote decides everything.

You will be very warmly welcomed (once you've paid the ?5 admission).

Free drink and nibbles included

Ist happening: Friday 18th January

Please wear interesting clothing (dressing gowns and jellies are especially encouraged). You are welcome to bring any form of performance writing (can be accompanied by music) or unusual performance movement which should last no longer than 3 minutes. Prize for winner. 

Boston Rockbury (regular feature writer for Kindred Spirit) will be performing his latest work: 'Four is a four letter word - dick-head'

Plus guest appearance by Helmut Squark - reading 'rust coloration'.

Also music and groovy lighting.
