Solar eclipse pictures

The sight of a total solar eclipse - when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun - attracted thousands of astronomers and tourists in Northern Australia, with Damon Jamie in Cairns taking this picture.

Add that to my list of things I want to see in real life, not in pictures.
One of the good moments in the film sunshine was the passage of mercury across the sun. Doubt I'll see that either :)

Sunshine was a really interesting flick. Didn't think I would like it, but it turned out pretty damn well done.
