But ahhh Impala oh the memories....

We met at Heathrow...both flights delayed! I was going to war next day...the lady was going to Africa... our postcard correspondence read thus.

Me "the food's awful and the natives are unfriendly"

Her "the food is Impala ish. Natives are steering clear"

Me "Natives have shown their dislike of bullets, food has not improved."

Her " Natives have control of the bullets, Impalas seem to be collecting them. Not a salad in sight"

Me "Natives have collected all the bullets, Food still unpalatable, not willing to try cannibalism"

Her "Funny you should say that...natives have large cooking pots!"

Me "Good luck with that!"
