If they were to sell the treasures and palaces and castles and houses and land that they hold dear because as Meekon so rightly  stated. In the past they would throw each other out of windows or stab their brothers in the back (literally!) or go to war for a bet!

It would wipe out our national debt and probably get your national debt sorted too!!

They don't drain us because of the tourism revenue they bring ....but they do not pay for themselves either!

It's just privilege and bad breeding that has allowed this state of affairs to exist...oh and the mentality that "they are better than us"

I would like to put my hand up vis a vis photos.No curiosity there dudes.If you walk along the beach in Cap d'Agde,you will see all the tits you are ever going to need to see.And a thing about the Royal family dudes.They are land owners like any other of the many land owners we are endowed with in England.They have their own personal estates (along with princes from Saudi Arabia and mega rich bussinessmen from Switzerland).Actually these estates are leased from the owner who is the reigning Monarch at the time who also owns the pictures and castles.A while ago a deal was done with the treasury.The government takes all the proceeds from the royal estates in return for an allowance.Except for Charles.He doesn't get an allowance 'cos he has the leasehold on Cornwall.Pays his own way.Now you may dispute the principles of land ownership,but that is a whole other debate dudes.
