The Dudeist Manifesto......

THERE'S A RELIGION
for its time and place...It fits right in there, helps us abide through all the strikes and gutters, the ups and downs of the whole durned human comedy. It really ties your life together.

So, What the Fuck am I Talking About? - http://www.answerology.com/index.aspx/question/2733446_A-Few-Have-Asked-Me-What-IS-Dudeism-and-WHY-are-YOU-Bytor-an-Ordained-Priest-OF-it.html

Dudeism: a modern take on Taoism that takes many of it's teachings from the lifestyle of "The Dude," the main character from a movie called "The Big Lebowski." Not so much a "Religion" as much as it is a worldview. One that revolves around the key principle that a person should do their best to take it easy, to put up with whatever the world throws at them and make the most of it, all while maintaining a cool head and being true to themselves. That is to say; to abide.

That's the most simplistic explanation of Dudeism I give whenever a friend asks what it is that I'm blathering about  ;D
