I used to wipe bums too. And clean bathrooms after mental patients fecal-smeared the walls. Turns out it wasn't my life calling, so I play with computers now. I have the utmost respect for anyone who *stays* in the field and helps those less able to look after themselves.

Tip of the hat...

Worst I've had to do is unblock toilets in a Stockton-on-Tees nightclub that had been blocked and idiots had continued to use.

I did a bit of private hospital portering myself. Luckily that only means you have to lift stuff mostly and serve dinner to the old ones.

Of course you would have to have someone run it for you...other wise it sounds like it could be exhausting. 8)

A very dude like idea indeed! Another idea is open your own Coffee Shop/Family Restaurant (where of course customers would be asked to keep their voices down, but respecting their First Amendment rights at all times).

There we go. A little bar in Amsterdam, with a bowling lane in it.

I'll start the fund raiser!

Had a feeling the fund raiser would head in that direction. :D

I can cut you a check for $0.69
So how much would a Cafe'/Bowling alley cost in Amsterdam?
How many checks for 69 cents would we need? 8)

Closest I can find is this

How to Start a Coffee Shop in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately though:

Quote from: How to Start a Coffee Shop in Amsterdam
If your intention is to open a Cannabis Coffee Shop, you are largely out of luck. Amsterdam is attempting to change its image, and has a "no growth" policy towards these businesses. That means that no new licenses are issues, even as older businesses close. If this is the type of coffee shop you wish to own, your only option is to buy out an existing company.

And milnie's thread Losing the Amsterdam Connection.
