Reverend Zim_ulator

Hi. I'm Reverend Zim_ulator, inventor of the philosophy of Zimizmizm, founder of Zim Buddhism, minister and holder of a Master's in Spiritual Reengineering from the Universal Church Triumphant of the Apathetic Agnostic, Sheikh of Okinawa, Archbishop of Koza and Rightful Heir to the Third Stripe. In short, I am a big fucking deal, a legend in my own mind.

I thought I'd stop in here and introduce myself. I signed up today and checked out Dudeism, which piqued my interest. I was at a bit of a loss about all the Lebowski references, but that was a minor obstacle to amusement. Providentially, The Big Lebowski was on television a few hours after I signed in here, and I watched it for the first time. Then I came back around, film references fresh in my slightly pot-addled brain, and grokked the thing with understanding, this time getting no spittle on my keyboard.

It appears to me that there are many cool people around here, and maybe I'll start hanging out a bit. I will endeavor not to cause trouble, antagonise nihilists, eat too much fiber or vegetation, or otherwise upset the imbalance that is Dudeism.

Cheers and well met,

It is rare that I quote a whole post but this deserves every fucking line!

Welcome Dude to our unholy and irreverent church.

This made me chuckle and nearly spit up some of my oat soda.

I love the fact that you are "a big fucking deal" well at least in your own mind. (probably mine too actually...now that you've declared it so!)

Are you indeed the rightful heir to the Third Stripe? I myself have a direct line to the throne of Artois. But there are many in front of me! :(

Peace your emminence. The bar (fully stocked with yonder red stripe) is over there.

Take her easy dude.  8)

Your signature on letters or checks is probably pretty interesting, welcome to the forums.

I'm a bit perturbed!

For the first time ever a post of mine disappeared! Yes vanished! The strange thing about this is it was a milestone....1000 posts! The weird thing is that my posts are now 1001...which means it registered (as I posted congrats to Trip as 1001! Fuck knows! :)

I think maybe that's fitting in a way!

Anyhoo...what I'd done and will try and recreate but of course with not as much wit and humour is this!

I don't normally quote entire posts but this one deserves a special mention.

I love the fact that you are a "big fucking deal"! I love the fact that you are the heir to the red stripe....I am somewhere in line to the Stella Artois Dynasty...well at least with all the money I've paid I should get at least VP's job and entitlement!

Welcome Rev Zim I look forward to your banter.

Peace Reverend

hey caesar dude

yeah, we installed some new akismet spam software and for some reason your post got flagged. if it continues to mark false positives then we'll have to remove it. suspect spam emails get held in limbo until an admin approves it, which i just did, so now it should show up.

PM me if one of your posts disappears again and i'll look into it asaparoonie.

cheers

I guess we're just going to have to ask C.D.'s optometrist to switch out the traditional eye charts for captchas. :D

Caesar dude! Congrats on the el-grando 1k post!

Zim dude - welcome to our little beach party. Grab any rug in the place.

As for titles, I became the Mayor of Utopia, a little temporary RV village I partied at over the weekend!

LOL! Welcome to the beach party dude!

Happy to be at the party, dude. I hope you don't mind if I hang in the cave and trip on the shadows. I have to stay out of the sun until the fudge cancels brillo to a smelt...
