The Big Lebowski (from a drunk perspective)

Greetings!  (Yes, I have at point a the end of all this)

No, I'm not drunk. But my Dad is... or was. Well him and his buddies were... are.. Let me start over.  I am new here and new to The Big Lebowski. I'm 15 and my Dad turned me onto the movie a few months ago and I have watched the movie 6 times already. I LOVE IT! My Dad and his buddies have watched it while drunk for years and I never really paid attention until recently. I now understand all the quotes and references he makes during his day to day life. Anyways, since I am learning how to do podcasts (my Mom helps me moderate them for GenXTalks) I thought it would be funny to have my Dad and his friends drink and ramble on into a microphone about the Big Lebowski. You can hardley shut them up anyways so I figured they would be willing participants. And they were!

I set up the mics, Mom poured the glasses and the I let them talk away. What I ended up with was over an hour of these guys analyzing each carachter in the movie one by one and laughing so hard Iceman fell out of his chair once.  I'm not sure how much they all got correct and how much they got wrong, but it was a lot of fun!


Being I am new to the movie I am VERY new to fan pages or forums. In fact, this is my first forum i joined. I don't know if you guys will delete me, laugh at me or skip over me. I dont care if 5 people listen to my podcast or 50. But if anyone does I would ask PLEASE give me feedback. Was it any good? Did my Dad get anything right???   LOL  I'd love to do another podcast confronting him with stories, ideas, questions and any corrections from this podcast.

In any case I just wanted to say I LOVE THE DUDE! I love the movie and I hope I placed this in the right thread. If not, apologies. (I have really enjoyed reading the topics and posts... so much good content!)

Anyways, I can take the criticism so dont hold back. LOL Here is the podcast link if anyone wants to listen. Im getting new equipment because i've been told the sound quality is not as good as it should be. I am learning podcasts ofr fun, not for money.
