My father-in-law died this week...

Sometimes you eat the bear, and, well...


Anyway, my wife was with her mom at the mortician's and they were talking about burial options. At one point the mortician said he wanted to be cremated and my wife, citing The Big Lebowski, said you just have to be careful not to be downwind when you dump the ashes. She and the mortician laughed and he said he loves the movie, especially that part.

That about wraps it up. Just wanted to share one more example of the Dude abiding...My wife took comfort in that. 
The whole concept abates.

Dude, older dudes never die, they just abide on...in the parlance of their times. And dude, mortician is not the preferred nomenclature; coffee can specialist, please.
