This is a rare interview audio clip with Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill a few months before the release of the original debut of Star Wars on a station I used to work at as a sound engineer and part-times talk show host a few years back. This recording was made at KPFK in Los Angeles on December 10, 1976. The movie hit the streets I believe around memorial day in 1977.

Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill were all but unknown. Hamill had done some TV and Ford was in American Graffiti the year before and was seen in a small part in Apocalypse Now.

The radio show was called "Hour 25" and was aired for years on KPFK, 90.7 FM in Los Angeles, it was a two hour Sci-fi show on Friday nights at 10PM.
