Fucking Doctors!

So, there I was on Saturday with a bit of a problem with my eye...I knew there was some sort of infection...and I knew it was probably due to me being not as careful as normal with my contact lenses.

It fucking hurt and that was enough for me to seek medical attention...

Conjunctivitis....first time in 20 years of being fairly attentive and looking after my hygiene ...hey eyes are important... no worries...a bit of cream and on my way...

Sunday...wake up...same pain same issue.....Monday! Fucking hell I can't see out of my left eye...so I go back...no worries dudes it's just a severe case....here's some antibiotics.

Today.... I wake up same pain no vision and I just know this is more serious than fucking conjunctivitis .....I go back and after insisting that I see a specialist and a couple of hours wait I am told that I actually have a corneal ulcer....this shit is serious and I could lose sight in the eye unless specific and topical drops are applied for the next 24 hours!

I elected to carry out this treatment at home rather than as an in patient!

So here I am 6 hours in and two different sets of eye drops every 30 mins... my choice though...NHS remember..and I could have a bed and be surrounded by nurses.. LOL

Had to go back yesterday and have been told to continue with drops for another 48 hours...it's getting old...setting the alarm clock every hour...putting the drops in which sting like buggery then trying to get back to sleep...then doing it all over....

Back to the specialist tomorrow to see how it's going!

No eye patch Milnie...but if I have to wear one then I'm definitely going to take up my boyhood dream of career pirate...just need a boat!
