Dudes, another Epicurus fan here. Where else in history did a philosopher actually say "relax"? He pointed out that happiness is the goal of all humans and that anxiety is the principal enemy of happiness. So he proposed cultivating a calm mind, good friends and good conversation in a peaceful setting; all of which are demonstrated by our heroes in the bowling alley.

I would like to submit, with peace and love, for the approval of all you dudes, as a truly noteworthy dude in history, devin the dude. just listen to this one song and tell me if you don't think it belongs in the canon of dudeist spiritual hymns.

devin the dude - do what the fuck you wanna do

Welcome new dudes to dude-topia! Good to see you on the lanes rolling a few! Abide, mangs!

Mufti

I think it is a big mistake that we left out Tommy Chong and Cheech Marin. But it's just my opinion.

Has anyone nominated keanu reeves? If not, I will, for great dude worldwide.

The man has endured some of life's deeper gutters and rolled some strikes too, yet he's still humble enough to ride the subway and not live in some flashy mansion.

I would just like to add, John Frickin' Denver.  The dude fought Phyllis Schlafly and Tipper Gore's Eagle Forum along side Frank Zappa and Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister in front of congress to stop the Parental Advisory labeling on records.  His songs are righteous, and clear.

Yeah, I would say John Denver was a great dude. Fuckin' eh.

John Denver was very Dude.
Sad that he passed.
I'm thinking he would have had a new career with newer generations.

I second the vote for Keanu Reeves, lives in a small flat, rides the subway, donated a huge chunk of his salary to the Matrix special effects team, and could quite possibly be the calmest Dude alive today. But that's just my opinion, man.

He also brought down the Russian Mob for killing his dog which is something I'm sure Walter would appreciate.
