Steve Jobs' FBI files question his honesty and morality

I don't understand how someone could be Buddhist, but go on to say that he would go to "thermo-nuclear war" over a "stolen" product and spend every last penny in his company's bank account trying to take it down.

Hominid

I hate labels.  What is a "Buddhist", anyways? Just someone who calls himself one, right? No one knows what's in one's heart, so self-applying any religious label only opens up oneself to criticism and scrutiny... Having moral convictions mean nothing if they don't show up in one's behaviour.  I heard he was an absolute prick to work with and for. So, hearing he had a religious (philosophical?) label means nothing to me. As it does for anyone... walk the talk, or STFU.

This man is dead, then why we are talking about this. I just only know he was a great person.

Hey mrubs, welcome to out little beach community...

Not to sound disrespectful of anyone, but I call'em as I see'em, dead or not.  Dying doesn't change what you were when you were living, nor does it absolve anyone of their wrongdoing. His were quite profound according to anyone who worked with him.

Just telling it like it is, that's all dude!

Afraid I agree with Hominid. Jack the Ripper, or Hitler, are no less monsters for being dead.

And as I've said before there were pc's before the mac, mobiles before the iPhone, and tablet pc's before the iPad. Job's only genius was taking these things making them more shinny and then selling them back to the morons, and then having the balls to try to sue all the people who first thought of the products. Now thats genius.

Lets not canonise the man when he actually did very little, except take your money off you.

Nothing really new here.
He was always known as a manipulative abusive prick.
But he was good at what he was paid for.

As far as honesty goes, in comparison to Bill Gates and the Microsoft bunch he was the pope.

Out here we are all his children
