I have only myself to blame.

The kids love to visit the pet store in the mall and play with the puppies.
So of course the wife and kids were out yesterday and the kids told her about the one puppy and of course we have a new member of the family.
He is very UNDUDE! Doesn't slow down for a second.
Jack Russell terrier.
But even I admit he's adorable.
And of course taking him to the park and exercising him will inevitably fall to me.

good luck with him! jrt, or 'parsons terriers' whichever they are called these days are a handful for a good 14 years! def not a mellow breed, but smart as hell.

I'm working on tiring him out.
As small as he is he'll play fetch all day long.
He attacks his toys for hours.
Shaking them around like a dead rat and growling.

Well actually Dustin Pedroia. Pedey for short. Pronounced "PD".
If you don't know, he's second baseman for the Red Sox.
He is the human embodiment of "small dog syndrome".
Little dude who uses a big bat and swings so hard he about knocks himself off his feet.
He's all heart.

Buy him one of those automatic ball launching things they use for tennis practice, then train him to fetch the ball and put it back in to hopper.
