sorry dude, i'm lost with the meaning of "ripping off his ass". is this the same as talking out of it? ripping off something in the uk usually means paying too much.

When someone is "ripped", they are bombed out of their skull, drunk, inebriated... you get the point!  I think if this dude was sober, he would have at least washed his glass before doing a review!!!
