thought I'd share a little intercultural fun fact with you.. In the very popular German TV series Tatort ("Crime Scene", http;//en,wikipedia,org/wiki/Tatort), one of the investigative teams is a little reminiscient of The Dude and Walter. The team is part of the series since 2002, and it's by far the most popular one (of several) as shown in several surveys.

The actual Chief Investigator is a relaxed guy with a strong attachment to a (real) small local soccer club with a certain cult status (the club has a skull and crossbones in its crest). In a recent episode, all the C.I. wanted to do was to finish watching a match on TV which he had recorded, but his phone kept ringing and he had to go out and investigate the murder.

He is accompanied by a slightly arrogant and eccentric forensic pathologist who always insists on doing (unsolicited) investigations on his own, often finding out crucial facts and moving the case further (much to the annoyment of the C.I.). The doctor is always totally convinced of his own views and importance, and the two often get into small disagreements and fights.

Actually there has been some criticism recently that there is too much emphasis on the humor and too little on the investigation, but well, I'm rambling... Have a look for yourself if you want:

Took me a while to work out why the links didn't work properly.

Yeah I meant that - unfortunately the system was afraid I was a spambot or something and wouldn't let me post real working URLs! There you go - humiliated by a computer who wasn't convinced that I was a real human being. ;-) Anyway thanks for posting the links!

I just got tied up in the fact that whenever I tried to use them my browser sent me to an AVG search page for "HTTP".

We used to have a huge problem with spambots so the forum was tweaked to not allow new members to post links until they had posted a reasonable amount of posts.
