This post was inspired by Hominid mentioning that as he gets older he finds Neil Diamonds music more appealing.

One of my guilty pleasures has to be bird watching! I'm not a "twitcher" by any means but I do take an interest in my feathered friends and I can actually recognise a few more than would be acceptable in my friends circles!  :D

We all have em dudes so spill the beans!

Peace.
Love is like a butterfly it goes where it pleases and it pleases where it goes. :)

Tripnastic

Mario Kart on the Wii.

I know I get annihilated by teenagers in Japan constantly, but when I just want to zone and doing something silly, it fits the bill.  It's the only game I've ever played online.
From what is Dudeism trying to liberate us?Thinking that's too uptight.

To what state of being is Dudeism trying to bring us? Just taking it easy, man.

By what means does Dudeism attempt do this? Abiding.

im a bird watcher too. and then i write poetry about them. which i them pay to self publish. or used to, the pleasure is now gone, not from the birds but from the poem making. silly stuff.
my egos not inflated enuogh to think i warrant the printed page anymore, its quite a relief.
i guess my other guilty pleasure, though i dont feel guilt and think i would have to kill someone before that emotion kicked in for real, is zanax.

Sponge Bob Squarepants.

Does that count?

I used to "have" to watch it to have conversations with my godson, he's sixteen now and I haven't got out of the habit.

Sponge Bob qualifies as an animated dude (if there can be such a category).  ;D

My favourite has to be Patrick's to-do list:

Love Sponge Bob, my kid is 12 now, no more SB, bummer.

My guilty pleasure is Planetside, an online FPS game where it is perpetual war, nothing like getting together to shoot your friends. I am part of an outfit known for coordinated attacks, we drop 20-30 guys on a base and take it from 40-50 guys. White knuckle combat. A bloodless war for teh lulz, the only kind of war worth fighting.

That and I get limber, a lot.

Hhmmmm, walking in the woods, beach or other areas of nature usually does it for me, that and chocolate. :)  Not sure if these are so much guilty pleasures (ok, choccie is clearly!) or needed things to maintain a balance in life, I'm thinking needed really.

I do enjoy just a lazy day at the beach with no expectations other than getting in a good nap. :)

Hell no, no guilt needed!! Animal burgers from In and Out Burger are holy food! Those are good burgers, Walter! One must never feel guilty about indulging in any IAOB!!

You have achieved a dudely like thing by partaking in a double-double animal style burger. Be proud, mang.

Behold........................

Anyone that has lived near an In-N-Out, and then moved away, will make this burger joint their first stop when back in town.

Known for their not-so -secret, go-all-out 'Animal Style' menu items--with a mustard cooked patty, pickles, extra spread, and grilled onions.  Family owned and operated, there are now restaurants in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, totaling over 150 locations in all.

Pricing is extremely reasonable, $5-7 for a combo, which partly helps to explain why most In-N-Out locations are packed from open 'til close.

and, let's not forget, they are open from 10:30 am til 1 a.m. and that pic is NOT animal style, man! let's find 'em and DDAS picture, its the REASON IMHO that IAOB is so holy. animal style isnt' even on the menu.
and two people( today) ate for under $7.
and for a 46 year old woman with an ass so big you could set a tray of fucking cocktails on it, tt's STILL qualifying as a guilty pleasure, but it's fucking worth it,mang.
put that on my tombstones, dudes.

Find a picture and post one, or, alternatively, pull out your trusty cell phone out on the IAOB lane and shoot a pic your personal burger before partaking so there will be record of your achievement. All will be encouraged by the image.  ;D
