I had a realisation about the 'vagina' energy yesterday. During sex I keep a sort of distance, a polarised yang energy, because this is more psychologically comfortable than properly merging with the softness of vaginal yin but also because sex based on energetic tension needs separation, it needs opposites and opposition. But there is a sort of making love that I got a glimpse of where there is a relaxation that comes before orgasmic release in the realisation (at a body level) that two have become one. My ego resisted this because it needs the story of independance and isolation to maintain its integrity but it has lifted a layer of tension from me and brought me closer to a feeling of peace.

This is disturbing on so many levels!

Sex is the closest we (humans) ever get to one another. It's a whole body experience a total commitment to openness with another human being, a sharing, in fact an almost total skin to skin contact with a person who shares the same needs and desires.

You seem to be describing it as an experiment. Or an independent  desire...remote from your partner and somewhat exclusive to "you"

Good luck with that! I'm sure your sexual partner will feel awesome knowing that you are    having sex just for you. Not exactly trying to make your partner happy but totally engaged in order that you can explain what you felt....not physically...but transcendentally!

He's the center of his own universe, and that post shows it in spades. He had the nerve to tell me outright that he was more enlightened than I was; this during many other condescending posts that he does to intentionally raise the ire of the community with scripted new age psycho babble. I'm truly puzzled beyond puzzled why this troll hasn't been punted.

Edit: I'm not enjoying it here as much as I used to. That's *my* issue, I realize that - I own my own feelings, but I just need to state that out loud.  I love good zesty honest debate (as some of you know), along with just normal day-to-day sharing that we all do here...

I'm puzzled myself. I'm sure Boston is not a troll (we're friends), but every now and then I do notice some strange posts that sound aggressive. The one about fucking strangers in the ass certainly came out wrong. I'm sure it was meant as a joke. Am I wrong?

But Caesar, you're hitting back a bit hard as well. No need to call people a wanker. And if he doesn't want to put his wee wee in his lady's hoo hah and just see how it feels - or doesn't feel, there's nothing wrong with that. Different strokes for different folks, i guess, pun intended.

Psychobabble should be tolerated here but so is pointing out if it seems like bullshit. Same with New Ageyness. Personally I think most New Age stuff and Psychobabble is antithetical to Dudeism as well, but we have to attack it on its merits - as Caesar has done, albeit a bit harshly - not throw the bodhi out with the bathwater.

One thought here, dudes. And this is just like my opinion, man; sometimes its good a have a dude post some stuff on the board that antagonizes a few dudes, if for anything, because we all like a good battle and a good debate once in a while. I mean if everything was Yin, where would be the Yang? If everything was white, what use is it without some color (even color we don't dig) splashed on the white canvas to stir things up?

Some of the best content, and the most amount of fun on a message board like this, can come from a dude who joins and then stirs things up a bit, even if a lot of what is posted is bullshit, it still gets us thinking when we respond to content we disagree with or don't dig.

That is to say; where would the Dude be without Walter around? Where would Walter be without Donny? And where would The Big Lebowski be without the Nihilists crashing the Dude's private residence and causing some water to be spilled out of the tub?

That is not to say that I agree with all of the stuff Boston Rockbury has posted, oh contraire; much of it is bullshit...but pretty good bullshit I would say, but bullshit none the less.

Sorry about the aggressive elements of my posts. There won't be any more of that. I am thinking about the "uncomfortable with the word vagina and the female form". I wonder if we partly experinece the vagina as a force of rejection, because it propels us from the total protection and nurturance of the womb into the pain and  suffering of the world. Is it a symbolic doorway?

But seriously, I do think that men are daunted not by the female form, but by the female persona. The femind can be unfathomable, and can be dangerous. Men in love are like children driving cars. Women in love are like technicians building those cars. IMDO.

And since the vagina is something so coveted, it can be unsettling. Like a big ancient temple or mansion. You want to get near it, to go inside, but you're afraid of its power. That once you go in, you'll never see the world in the same way again.
