When is a J a bummer?

When the cherry gets too close and you accidentally smoke your moustache. Tastes bad, man. But it's not all bad if you're getting down with a J. Still, a dude with a moustache eventually considers choosing between the moustache and the method.

This is something I always wondered about El Duderino (for this is no time for brevity): how could he go on smoking J's--and this is a guy who would rather inhale the cherry than let it go to waste--he must have smoked a whisker or two in his day but apparently he never altered his method. He used a clip, not a stone, and the bowling pin in the ashtray looked like a virgin. How many times have you seen him suck a beverage out his unbroken lip curtain?

I'll tell you what I'm blathering about: how could he go on smoking J's and not wind up with a short spot in his whiskers? By burn or by blade, that 'stache is going to have casualties. Yet there it is. Because he's The Man.

That's my theory. Am I wrong? Or am I just an asshole?

Well dude...we just don't know.
But I think the rule for assholes is...if you have one...you are one.
But that is just like my opinion dude.

It grows back, I trim and two days later I have a coffee sponge hanging over my lip again. But yeah, I bowl it.

Well, I am no expert on the mustache, though I do write a little blog about them:

As you can see, the Dude's 'stache is in no imminent danger of combustion.

I have managed to keep my mustache intact.
I have found that lighting a bowl can be fraught with peril also.
I can think of many times when I've witness fellow dudes burning there hair will firing up a bowl.
I haven't noticed anybody burning off there stach but I guess that is a clear and present danger.
