Caesar dude

I grew up on some dirty streets. Just South of Edinburgh in a miners town.

School was Catholic, regimented and punishments were easily come by...rulers on the backs of knuckles were for minor infringements such as having a button undone on a shirt. The tawse or strap DO NOT OPEN IF YOU GET UPSET BY PHYSICAL VIOLENCE http://www.s1lochgelly.com/media/the-lochgelly-tawse-in-action.html

School uniform for us boys was shorts, shirt and tie and a jumper throughout the year from the ages of 4 to 10. in your last year you were allowed to wear long trousers from January to March. This is Scotland remember!

My parents were clueless about raising children...they just knew they had to have them in order to rise through the social classes of scum, past working class and then on to the fabled pretentious middle class, which would allow them to have social gatherings at our house and bring out the quality party dishes of "sausage on a stick", cheese (on a stick, sometimes with pineapple) and Ritz crackers with cream cheese!

My mother was a nurse my father was an electronics engineer (also a whoremonger and pederast) he was an abusive man, unprepared to take any dissension or other point of view even. Retribution was often swift but more worryingly mostly very slow. With a treat that had been prepared for months, such as a family holiday, being cancelled on the day  because of a misdemeanour that had occurred some weeks or even months before.

I was not doing well at school although I was bright. I loved literature and music. I had a few friends and nobody threatened me when I started getting bigger. I was hindered and harried and bullied and depressed dudes...I was a mess and I wasn't 14 years old.

I sort of understood fairly early on that I couldn't easily influence this world that I had been landed on and so I guess I would just have to get by....

That's what I do Dudes...everyday...one foot in front of the other and I get by...When someone with a happy face asks me "How are you doing?" I answer, (with no smile my friends), "I'm getting by mate...just getting by."

Peace dudes....thanks for listening.

Hey Caesar dude,

Sorry to hear about your troubled childhood dude. Might be worth doing some sort of release stuff like re-birthing. If you're ever in France I've got a great yoga technique for releasing negative energy that I'd be happy to show you. Or I'm in Shoreham-by-sea next week for my brother's wedding, if that's anywhere near you.

Come to think of it I could get Wolverhampton Rockbury (my eldest son) to video the technique, YouTube it on up and post the link.

Let me know if you're interested dude.

Hi Caesar Dude,

Sorry to hear about your troubles, maybe a focus on nature and the environment may help your soul, it works for me, but I appreciate that it may not work for everyone.  My path of Dudeism involves the re-balancing of the manufactured (human society, ideology, capitalism, the family unit etc.) and the organic (nature, surfing, hiking, camping, swimming in lakes etc.).

My solution is recreation, recreation, recreation Dude.  I truly believe that having an interest that gets you out of the manufactured world and into the organic world has a very positive effect upon mind, body and soul.

The path of the Dude is an enlightened path, and your post indicates that you already understand the bollocks of social life so I reckon things are only gonna get better for you fellow Dude.

Peace.

BikerDude

I was watching a show the other night that had one really interesting part.
Basically one of the people was asked how they felt about whatever and they had these negative feelings.
Fear and anger etc.
Then the coolest thing. They talked about how those came from somewhere else and the key was to be
"in the moment". Wow! For me that is so cool.
We drag around all these past things that color our every moment and mood and the key is to lose that and be 100% in the moment.
String together enough good moments and you can kiss good bye to all the baggage.
I found that to be very sage wisdom.
Abide and focus on having some good times.

Out here we are all his children
