URGENT shout out to Edinburgh (Scotland) Dudes!

This is an extremely long-shot but are there any Edinburgh Dudes (awake) online?
Just got a phone call from a local friend whose pal just got mugged in Edinburgh (they took credit cards, cash - the lot, at gun point). Apparently he's been to the embassy but is not getting much joy. It is unclear if he can still stay at the hotel (as he now has no cash) or is going to have to stay on the street. All sounds odd but my friend is rather cut up about it and is trying to wire him some cash. She rang me to see if I have any chums there (used to have a mate or two in Glasgow) but I ain't. So, I guess he needs someone to help him find his bearings - not a cash thing but maybe a sofa for the night type thing. If anyone can help IM me, cheers.

(Don't have all the details but I guess I can get them soon enough).

UPDATE: All is in hand, Dudes, seems the guy had been hacked and some fucker was trying to scam cash. Glad he's okay and happy that some cool Dudes didn't waste their time and effort. Thanks for the offers guys and sorry if I put your schedules on hold or screwed them up in any way.
