I know someone who makes real good home brew. Dogbolter, as I remember, is my favorite--real smooth. I believe she ups the proof substantially and adds her own this and that to each recipe.

Not big on beer here either, but we keep a case of 6oz pony bottles of Rolling Rock on hand. We have one every so often. I'm told it was my grandfather's beer.
We have tried a few others, but have to agree with granddad!

...The Guiness is good with dinner...

Guiness is good as dinner!

A whole meal in a glass.

I like your thinking, M dude; beer as a meal works for me!  ;D

I'm not a huge fan of beer myself.  If I do grab a beer, I'm usually on a beach with a lime in it.

I dig the lime thing too, adds a nice touch to many oat sodas. I drop some in Mexican beers. Seems to add the right touch, mang!  ;D

I no longer drink, but when I did I liked most beer, was into Sam Adams before it was national, Bass and Guiness, apart or in the black an tan. I drank Bud as my utility beer, I couldn't go any lower to the Keystones or Ices(liquid crack).

I still drink near beers, not as often but on hot days or at parties, for that I prefer Hak Becks(sp?).
