According to a video interview Goodman said there was no ad libbing in TBL except for The Dude's "Human Paraquat" remark. Even all the "fucks" were scripted at just the right point and just the right amount.

That depends on what "script" you are looking at. There are a few around missing a part here or there, or changing a name like this one who has Marty or Monty in the movie (the Dude's landlord) down as "Allan." ..........
