Yeh but look at the Pagan community, there are so many self proclaimed "High Witch King", "Arch Druid of the Universe" types that they just make the rest of the serious pagans look like knobs.

agreed.

i think so people forget that over time things get manipulated and manifest themselves in different ways. messages get lost and jumbled up. jokes get taken seriously.

people are stupid. i dont give them enough credit. haha

Well my point in my original post was not to have people "in charge" of things, but more like public figures that spread the message of dudeism... Putting a face to Dudeism in different communities. The Pope doesn't just spread the message.... he makes arbitrary rules and such... Not dudely indeed... I certainly wasn't asking for any power.. But yeah.... I'll crawl back into my bed now. :-p

I'd always assumed that any special titles were for the good fellow dudes who did some nuts and bolts work. Like admins, or the folks who mail stuff. And even at that - in the end, we're all dudes.

I'm with M5 - shampoo and conditioner for my beard does wonders.

In my own opinion, too many high fallutin' names like "Grand Achdude Demi Pope" or "Omnipotent Lizard Stick" make me think of something the Klan would come up with.

I actually am an Erisian Pagan as well as Dudeist.

Now as a Discordian I am required to hold many highfalutin titles that suggest much pomp and grandure. In fact all Discordians are required (or not) to have such titles in abundance, we then all pontificate on what and how we are Discordians, and most importantly we all contradict each other to the disconsternation of anyone trying to understand what we are and what we are doing.

I am only too happy to continue the practice here, but don't see titles and talking out to people as being important, if someone comes up to you and asks "What is Dudeism" show them as far as you understand it, in your humble opinion, but i see no need for a spokes person, because spokes person sounds too much like hard work to me.

....And I was thinking to congratulate Digitalbuddha to be an ADMINISTRATOR DUDE now, his name already sounds like a great thing, I knew him when he was a just a dude, he progress in forum's life, however i'm still a dude, the bums always lose ... hahaha

Yeah if you read back a little the forumdude did away with all the kiddy titles and everyone is just a dude, except the newbees.They are amateurs until their 10th post. That's something new too to keep all the fuckin' human paraquat spammers from pissing all over our rug here. Amateurs can not post links!
