In all reality, dude, I considered him a dude by association even though he is of the Christian persuasion.  I've never harshed on him for his own personal beliefs, yet he continues to tread on mine.  To make things clearer, here is his own personal rant towards our beliefs:

Being a Dudeist is irrational. I dare even say hypocritical. The Dude himself would not be a Dudeist. Remember, he's damn near the laziest man in the world. It would require effort to become a member and then being a member would put boundaries inside of your mind about taking down boundaries. Dudes are dudes because they are without affiliation, without focus. What you have there in Dudeism is simply cult following.

It goes without saying that, as of this rant directed at the ethos, he is no longer considered a dude-by-association, but a mere acquaintance.  First question is, do I, as a dude, try to make him understand or keep him at acquaintance status until he is enlightened of his own accord.  Second question is have others dealt with this?

So this Christian told you your belief system is a cult...guess he didnt realize what the romans called his religion back in the 40s AD...

All is well. Cease the confusion, and frustration that follows it. The rug has not been peed on, I am currently at hand tempering functional battle ready full twang swords for our army of dudeists. It's the best we can do at current member capacity and donation returns. The armalites are currently on hold, however if you can manage to pray, or lazy someone to death and take theirs, more power to the dude. ABIDE!!!

By the way, I'll be going around to all the local universitys and selling them used Allman brothers albums, since last time when i tried to pitch dudeism on them with sandals, lounge chairs and thai stick; it failed so miserably. Turns out they already have all that stuff, one of them even offered me a burrito. I tried to brainwash one of them, but he made me play frisbee and gave me a burrito.

Oh love getting a visit from those guys. Been about 5 years since they came by. Wonder if there is a way to get the routes they take in advance, rent a apartment or home on their way and set up a nice intervention party for them.
