I think Fearless, mentioned in the article is a wonderful story. Well, yeah it is holliwoody, but fuck it, it is a great story about love and how it can save people. I just love it. One of my favourites acutally.

Most contemporary profiles tend to focus on Bridges? resemblance to The Dude?the hero of the Coen brothers? 1998 cult classic The Big Lebowski. But the resemblance ultimately feels a little superficial. Both like to smoke pot, enjoy their downtime, and carry themselves with a Zen detachment. But for The Dude, it?s always downtime, and he?s perfectly content just to be Lebowski.

Yeah even that American Masters program about him is called the Dude Abides, cool, but Jeff is a real Dude, a real Dude who played the Dude in a movie.

The charactor Jeff Lebowski was a personification of a worldveiw that at the time was disconnected from the society in which we we lived. Jeff Bridges was the right guy for his time and place, he just fit right in there. Jeff Bridges is just another Dude, that if he were to post here would blend right in, he would join in the conversations about the Dude, like us.

BTW because of work situations, I have to wait til this weekend to catch the show, wife has it on DVR and a J ready to snuggle and get our Dudeness on.

They said they were filming for the A M show at the symposium I met Jeff at, there is a chance the Rev is in there some where, let ya know when I see it.

Interesting side note, the cammera man has a dudefish sticker, gave him and Jeff's daughter one each.
