Dude Tips

We all offer advice, from time to time, during our League Play; here's a chance to share some advice with Dudes in the Almanac/Dudeku whatever book.

Dude Tips ( you could follow the Brit comic "Viz" example 'Top Tips' and make 'em funny http://www.fishtank.org.uk/humour/humour.php3?articleid=61). Tips can be on anything: how to live more Dudely / best way to roll a J / grow J-plants / avoiding Fascist harrasment / meditating techniques / special lady/gentleman appeasement tips / obscure, everyday, seasonal: whatever . .

If you go to your local bowling alley and ask, they usually have lists of bowling clubs in addition to bowling leagues.  The difference being that bowling clubs are less competitive and usually have a common theme among the people. IE.. Dudeists, Star Wars fans, model plane makers etc....  Just people with similar interests that want to get together and have a good time on the regular.

That's how I found out about a Sports Shot league. It's not really a "league" since each bowler rolls just for himself, but what's great about it is they change the oil pattern every week to one of the PBA or USBC oil patterns. I hear is really tough, but a lot of fun. I'm going to give it a try next season!
