Idea for ForumDude

Hey ForumDude, was thinking about an idea. More or less inspired by Cakebelly dude's righteous vids.

I wonder if there could be a section of the DudesPaper for artist dudes to upload art (all kinds including those widely regarded as being strongly vaginal, but less than LogJammin in content ).

I know that can you upload vids to YouTube, obviously, but it would be cool to embed them on a section of DudesPaper reserved for dude like art. The concept being something close to The Big Lebowski's wall with all of his awards. A place for vids, music, wall art, literature, photography, etc.



A link on the forum directly to that DudesPaper page would be cool too.

  Thanks for the kind words, DB - there is talk (on the FB page - look, I was just browsing, okay) of a Dude site coming. Well, when I say 'talk' I mean all 'they' have said is that they are thinking about starting up a site (with no further information) and have asked what the FB Dudes think it should be called. That's it - they are asking for name ideas. Why the idea hasn't been been posted here so it can be kicked-around, petted, fed, thrown a stick - whatever;  here, where things are (now and again) discussed, y'know . . rather than declared "liked' by all and sundry . . we (the royal we) just don't know. Huh.

So I guess we could do something here: what should the Dude site be called? I think "Dudespace" is in the running (don't like) and "The Rug" is up there, too (do like).

Discovered last night that Easy Star All Stars have re-dubbed their original Dub of "Dark Side Of The Moon"  - I had a little fun with one of the tracks (Step It Pon The Rasta Man Scene - this has an even bolder/dirtier bass line than the original dub); some of you guys are in it, but don't blink - you'll miss yerselves. A slight homage the episode of "Father Ted" when he is accused of being a racist and runs a slide-show (in which he has inserted, what he hopes will be, subliminal messages) in the Town Hall to disprove the allegation. "TheRug" sounds cool, would really tie the site together. With all the whole Lebowski art thing going on, I think dudes world wide need a central location to park and share their dude like creativity.

Is there a fan page for the FB dudes you mentioned?
