Colbert ties it all together in the end of this clip.

As an outsider I have been watching the debate and the hate over the placement of a mosque in NEW York.

Thing that occurs to me there wasn't such a big reaction against Irish Catholics after the Oklahoma Bomber, or complaint about catholic churches in Oklahoma City near the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

Timothy McVeigh was an extremist as the 911 bombers were extremists, it seems too much of a convenience that the bombers were Muslim which allows the state authorised xenophobia.

I understand that 911 was the first time the US people realised that they could not wage their wars in other peoples countries with impunity. The USA finally got to understand how the UK was with the IRA, Spain with ETA the  Basques separatists, or Germany with the Bieder Manoff. Or even the bombing both Germany and the UK committed on each other during WWII.

It's a big realisation for the US people that the third world war (unllike the previous two) wont just be fought in Europe or Africa but on the streets of America as well.

All in my personal point of view of course.

The trouble is, that those of us who appreciete that are not "news worthy", so all the rest of the world hears about is our retards.

There are plenty of Murcans, but some of us are just regular Dudes, hoping for a better world, with the rest of you.

Peace.

Unfortunately if everyone was laid back and understanding about things then it wouldn't make very good news, which then fails to sell advertising, etc etc.

I was interested to read a comment by William Gibson about the huge divide between the rich and poor here in the UK. Surprised even because that's the way a lot of TV here portrays the US.

We are only told what the Man wants us to be told, the news is what the government wants the people to be told. Notice the news is all about Mosques and not about banks that nearly destroyed the whole system (shame because it has been said that capitalism must fall soon). Come the revolution.

Do try to see a film wag the dog. It's meant to be a comedy but it is a bit frightening if you think about it.

It's too bad the the asshat wasn't on one of the jets that hit a trade tower, his talents regarding the slashing of muslim terrorists would have been welcomed. He might even have stopped at least one jet from hitting it's target.

On the other hand, his handy work on the smuck driving a taxicab was a waste, not to mention very undude.

Fucking eh, one way to experience a subjective reality is three beers and bowling. Works for me.

Da Stranger

Well that might be true that reality is subjective to a certain degree but this is not Nam, there are rules here, either the bush administration killed americans or they didn't, just search "bush caught lying" in youtube dudes, and "9/11", at some point, you have to draw a line in the sand, and you cant pretend nothing is fucked when the plane has crashed into the building.

Quantum Physics, Multiverse, Many Worlds.
That is the hardest part to get a hold of; that there really is more than one Reality, and it all depends on which one of the infinite Realities you believe.
I am not a Nihilist who believes in Nothing, but I do believe in a Whole lot of No-Thingness.

This is my video Skeptical Idealism 2.0 on one of my YouTube channels.

Do I believe 9/11 was an inside job?...fuckin' A right I do.
But I also believe there are other Realities where it was not an inside job and the work of (fill in the blank).  There is more than only One Truth...there are Infinite Truths!

cckeiser...you'll be ok, man, i think you're just having an acid flashback.

wasn't it the government that first introduced americans to LSD in the first place?

that multiple realities thing, dude, sounds cool, but if you can jump realities, why aren't you in the reality where you're a fucking millionaire?

some things...u just cant think your way out of....and across this reality....YOU DO NOT!
