Burger called "The Dude" in Santa Cruz, CA

I was just at a new burger place, simply called "burger." in Santa Cruz, CA.  All their burgers are named after modern icons.  

The first burger on the menu?  "The Dude", with a photo right there in the menu - a still from the film where the Dude is at Ralph's holding the carton of Half & Half (as pictured below).

What's on The Dude? Guacamole, Bacon, and Jack Cheese.

It may not be In-And-Out, but ... "those are good burgers."

My only complaint, they only have beer and wine, so I couldn't have a "Caucasian" with my burger. However, their beer selection is EXTENSIVE!  They have probably 30+ on tap, and as many in the bottle - from Miller High Life to Chimay. That should satisfy most any dude.

Hmm, I was pretty sure that I posted a response to the burger situation. Maybe wringing every cent out of the movement is okay, maybe it was an over-reaction on my part; quite possibly. Maybe the world needs more Dude merrchandise - every Dude can buy a franchise, don't know. Maybe there are some very, very, serious guacamole lovers out there. Maybe . . mayhap it was the yodeling vaginas that got you all shook-up. That's understandable but not, I feel, a reason to have one's post deleted. Very undude, very.
Then again, maybe I did just imagine it all . . maybe.

I know it's an old thread, but just to add ... they've since added a full bar. You can now order a "Caucasian" with your Dude burger.
