This isn't a philosophy of my creation, but it's a phrase I live by: "I'm only human, of flesh and blood I'm made; I'm only human, born to make mistakes."

I don't believe that a "spark of the divine" lives in us.  I do believe that when we die our spirits go to an eternal resting place befitting the path we have chosen in life, but that's it.  If we see God, we'll be in his presence but not of his essence.  We're human, and that's ALL we are.  And if we survive after death, we'll be spirits, whatever spirits are, but that's it.

Yeah well, kinda agreeing on the spirit part. But offcourse that is only temporary I think. I believe there will be a new earth and a new heaven, but still, that will be a "spiritual" world, were we will be spiritual, kinda like angels (Mt. 22,30-31; Lk.20,27-40; 1Cor 15,35-49). We'll be taking it easy, abiding and everything will be relaxed!

And for on earth, let's listen to Al Bundy about making mistakes. I quote him talking to Steve who just lost Marcys paycheck: "Just go home say: Marcy I'm sorry, I screwed up, and what's for dinner?  That's what being a man's all about: making mistakes and not caring!"
Stop thinking too uptight, just take it easy and abide.

Definitely!

Good Al Bundy quote, by the way.
