Just read the first book in 'The Drive In' trilogy, gotta say if you like your plots somewhat bonkers with shovels of dark humour, this author is worth checking out.

I've read Bubba Ho Tep, this has an Elvis Presley impersonator (believing he's the real Elvis) recently coming out of a coma in an old peoples home, discovering that people are dying quite frequently he, with his friend Jack Kennedy (a black fella who believes he's JFK), go on the hunt of the cause.
It's a great little film too!It stars that great actor Bruce Campbell and that cool fella Ossie Davies.

That was indeed a good little film  ;D  Kind of plays a bit like a supernatural version of a mental patient film, like Cuckoo's Nest or The Dream Team, only with deluded old folks.

Was thinking of watching it again sometime, but might look out for the book, now I know was there was one!  Well recommended.
