Pancake Waitress

When I joined here, I was racking my brain trying to think of some name that would be Maude-ish, even though I'm not much like her (I love her character, though!) - and couldn't come up with anything. So, I just looked at the character listing at imdb.com and thought "Pancake Waitress" was kinda funny for a forum name, so...  :D

Heck, I just thought I'd take it easy by not twisting my brain trying to figure out a fancy handle and used my own name.
I took the practice test for US citizenship and only got three questions wrong. They told me I would have to study a lot harder.

Then I took the Canadian test and only got three right.
They apologized for making the test so difficult and said I could be a citizen if I brought some beer along.

It may surprise you that some of the rest of us "think on deep shit" as well here.

As long as you don't start using the phrase "don't make me go too deep", as a previous individual was prone to, then not follow up with substance.

Sorry I'm the in-house Troll

Welcome, any rug in the place bars over there.

Zen Dog

I've had mine for years. Got it from a cartoon on a coaster of a dog in a boat with shades on.Underneath it says
"He knows not where he's going
The ocean will decide
It's not the destination
But the glory of the ride".
I took it on when I became a rev in the ULC.
I have endeavored a zen approach to life since reading ILLUSIONS by Richard Bach and other stuff and now I know about abiding.
If you believe you can tell me what to think.
I believe I can tell you where to go.

Rev. Ed C

I guess I've never posted up why I use the handle I do, but...

I've had handles in various forums/games I've played online, and I didn't feel like using one of those here.  I felt like here I needed to just be, well, myself, in name as well as spirit.

Where my full name is 28 letters long:  Edward Richard Harold Churchman, I've always liked to crunch it down to just Ed.  Brevity on high :)  Or Take my R and H and quish it on to make Rhed (which is commonly take in popular places, so becomes rhed_c.

So, I like to go by my two-letter handle, nice and simple, Ed.  However, just because I don't wanna manolopise Rev. Ed from all the other Rev. Eds in the world, once again, for the Forum, I added in C, just to leave the market open for my like-named compeers :)

But, you know, you can just call me Ed 8)
