Powerful men are well advised not to use aggression,
For aggression cannot remain unchecked;
Tumbleweeds tumble across any line drawn in the sand,
Doesn’t anybody here give a shit about the rules?
Across this line you do not.

Walter is well advised
To achieve nothing more than the simple plan which is his charge,
No matter how many learned men have disputed this;
To defend our basic freedoms,
But to keep his voice down in a family restaurant;
To help determine who enters the next round-robin,
But not let his buddies die face down in the muck;
For even the worthiest fuckin’ adversary will weaken with time;
He’s cracking.

Tao Te Ching: 30. Violence
Powerful men are well advised not to use violence,
For violence has a habit of returning;
Thorns and weeds grow wherever an army goes,
And lean years follow a great war.
A general is well advised
To acheive nothing more than his orders,
No matter how strong his army;
To carry out his orders
But not glory, boast or be proud;
To do what is dictated by necessity,
But not by bloodlust;
For even the fiercest force will weaken with time,
And then its violence will return, and kill it.
