Alas, no more Twinkies!

Hostess Twinkies, Ho Hos fly off shelves in Glendale

The shelves at the Wonder Hostess Bakery Thrift Shop in Glendale on Friday were nearly bare as customers made runs on Twinkies, Ho Hos and Ding Dongs after the iconic snack food company asked a judge for permission to go out of business and lay off 18,500 workers nationwide.

A while ago one of our philisophical comedians did a tv series called unchained America.How to traverse the US without using a chain establishment for food or accommodation.He was looking for the individual pioneering spirit that America is famous for.He achieved it,eventually.But not without a great deal of searching.

And he threw up afterwards on account of being a veggie for several years.His body had become unused to the animal fat content.He was stuffed on account of it being a public holiday.Lack of forward planning.Definately not a child of the 50's.Do you bowl dude?

I used to bowl dude. In fact I used to bowl with a fighter pilot named Stan Bowles!

My big joke was "hey look, Stan bowls badly!" or "I hope you don't fly that like that, or we're all fucked!"

He crashed of course....now that must have been a strike!
