The issue of police carrying guns came up in the uk recently after 2 police women were shot dead on a "routine" call out. It's a vicious circle dudes and not an easy one to argue

Yeah I read about that. There had been reports of a nutter with a sword and they mistook his white cane.
It's easy to criticise the police but everyone gets scared regardless of training  and you can just make the wrong decision

not any easy topic,dudes...Rosie O Donnel wants our guns,but the bitch has armed security..So does Michel Moore..
Brad Pitt came out pro-gun,and got raped in the media..
Dial 911..help is only a few minutes away...response time for me is 7-to 15 minutes,and I live a mile or so away from the cop shop...fuck you..Im keeping my guns!

Amendment II, The Constitution of the United States of America

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. ... shall not be infringed!

The Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme law of the land; any attempt to violate it is a high crime, potentially treason and punishable. IMHO, it is high time anyone caught in an attempt and/or conspiracy to thwart any clause or any amendment which as been lawfully included in The Constitution should be indited, convicted and properly punished. Take heed Rosie O Donnel, Michel Moore, Barbara Boxer, Diane Finstien, Gun Control, Inc. and others who would tread on my rights; I agree, fuck you.

As a limey I don't get that the constitution  hasn't been modernised. I can understand the right to have a gun when it was originally drawn up but now it seems outdated. Is owning a gun really that important for everyday life in America?
I'm not trying to piss on your rug here guys, hell I'm a good shot and was a member of a rifle club at uni and did enjoy it greatly but feel no need to have a gun.

Muskets dude, muskets.What if you miss? Dude,if you can't shoot straight,should you be shooting at all? Hell, why not just nuke the fucking neighbourhood? It seems to me that if you can emancipate the chattels then adjusting the regulations on firelocks.............and one other thing dudes,doesn't this rule apply to a well regulated militia? And isn't the militia the National Guard? Honest questions dudes, so take 'er easy.

It's that all important comma that bugs the shit out of gun control fanatics. Notice...

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state COMMA the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

The comma indicates two SEPARATE thoughts;

   1. A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state. This is stating the purpose of owning weapons (besides self defense), without a "well regulated militia" a free state is in serious jeopardy from outside or inside attack.

   2. In order to have a "well regulated militia" THE PEOPLE must "keep and bear arms." In other words, the arms are in the hands of the people, not some central government location, so that NO government, foreign or domestic, can take the freedom and liberty from the people because they, the government, control the arms. In other words; in order to have a viable effective well regulated militia of the people (notice it does NOT say a "government regulated militia), THE PEOPLE are to control the weapons personally. That is only common sense.

   3. It was well understood at the time of the creation of the US Constitution that the people would be free to own, possess and bear arms.

Rosie O Donnel can mark it zero and go fuck herself.

Outdated? When were these people all in power (see below)? Answer; The last few years. The Second Amendment of the US Constitution is just as important today as the day it was penned. I say again...........

Yes, but none of them lived in the USA. domestic gun control has got fuck all to do with dictators in other contries. your constitution was written at a time when the right to bear arms was a critical part of daily life due to the lawlessness and harsh living conditions in a large part of the USA. why the fuck do you (plural dude, not just DB) need a gun now, sitting in your cosy condo, drinking white russians, food delivered to your door? is it for snakes and what not? by a mongoose!
