I was wondering whatever happened with THE LITTLE LEBOWSKI, thinking if a movie never happened it would make a great book. So I cruise by and find this thread from late last year. Did the book ever come out? What about the talk of a fan movie? I may be able to help you guys with the book, working on one myself right now about the Austin music scene during the 80's (SRV, T-birds, Tail Gators, et al.) and have a buddy who's independently published several books. And of course if you guys do a movie I'd love to help out with the music and audio. Contact me through my website if there's anything in the works.

Well dude we just don't know. The Lennon has been missing for some time now. No reply to emails either.
But talk to the Dudely Lama anyway if you would like to do something with The Little Lebowski.

I got a text from him at New Year - he'd got himself into some kind of ashram (but may have moved on since then).

Since the story is posted online that means it's already published. Therefore it's really a matter of him getting paid, as half-owner of this intellectual property, his share of whatever monies are generated from a book or movie or what have you. Set up an escrow account in his name and pay it there and when he resurfaces everything should be kosher. He'll have whatever money is due him (which he probably wouldn't be expecting, a nice surprise) and again since it's already published online I don't see why he would have any objections to somebody developing it into a book or movie so long as it's done right.
