That's another thing we don't know--his financial situation. You're right that it could be that, but if it was, you'd think he'd be very aware that he was late with the rent, instead of taking a while to understand that this was what Marty was talking about.

It's a good point Outer, but I also thought he was being intentionally vague the way most of us rent dodgers are when the landlord calls for the money.

You know, this seems eminently open to interpretation. I think there are quite a few questions like that and was wondering if it would be a good idea to score the thing in a couple of different ways and see if it changes his personality type at all. Or would that be too much work?

I feel an obligation to give it at least an attempt to appear on time if I've made that promise. Though I wont stress too much for it, if reasonable effort doesn't get me there on time then I can always say "sorry, didn't make it on time".

If my honest confession that I wasn't late on purpose isn't enough, then Fuck it.

That having been said, I'm usually way ahead of time almost everywhere. I don't like being in rush so I count extra time for the travel just in case and often end up loitering in my destination for quite some time.

I would be willing to do that, once we get to a point where we have enough results in. Just go back to the Meyers-Briggs site and take the survey with the Dude's answers, then? Is there a place on the site where I could view all the results at once?

Well dude...that's all well and good like....but...all these questions are for The Dude. We are trying to figure out how The Dude would have replied to all 72 questions from the Myers-Briggs personality test so we can...well...just maybe...answer the the question Quaker dude asked...what is The Dude's personality profile?
Most of the 72 are pretty much self evident, but half a dozen or we are having some problems coming to a consensus on.
How would The Dude reply?

Not yet, but once we come to a consensus on the few remaining ties I will collect them into one post.
Haven't checked back for a few days but there were ties or very close calls on 22, 35, 47, 49, 55, and 65.
I think we should have at least a 2 vote margin. I would like a much bigger margin, but we only have a handful of dudes replying.

I do think, that while Dude would probably not use same wordings as I did, his answer would essentially be what I said at the start of my post - that's how it was intended anyway, and just the latter part just about me(while the beginning part applies to me too).

The Dude is a man of honour and tries to keep his word. But in his world, there is no such thing as urgency - things happen mostly on their own weight with light effort(just like rolling the bowling ball towards the pins, difference between a strike and a gutter is only slight amount of effort).

If that effort isn't enough to make it, the Dude wouldn't get a spasm, he'd take it easy.
