I think the Dude was just happy to have his car back with his creedance tapes.  Looking out my back door aint a song about bisexual stuff, it's about chillin the fuck out after a long trip, locking the front door, retreat to the back porch, fire up a J and go ahhhhhhh!  The dude has his car, a J, an oat soda and the beloved Creedence tapes, Hell that put's me in a good mood just thinking about it.  I really don't think the car scene has anything to do with the doctor visit.  Of course, that's just like my opinion man.

I think the dude figured out in the doctor's office that Maude wanted to be his lady friend, that she wanted his help in conceiving man, and wanted a roll in the sack trying out some zesty coitus. In the parlance of our times of course.

So, like any Lebowski achiever, he fired up a J, cranked up the Creedance and did some dude like celebrating on the way back to his pad. Though I'll have to admit that the dude was a bit surprised to find out that Maude was serious about (...let me tell ya somethin' bout the dude, etc.) conceiving a little Lebowski and not seeing the dude socially after.

But all in all, the dude seemed to mark it eight with his lady friend and it didn't cost the dude a thousand clams or bones or what have you.

................I guess that's the way the whole durned human comedy keeps perpetuatin' it-self, down through the generations...........

.....after all, we are talkin' about the dude here.

finally...some leads.  this is the last piece of the lebowski puzzle i never understood.

Actually, he couldn't have known yet.  Notice his reaction later where he spits out his white russian, you know, after coitus.  So he's shocked to find out that he was being used for conception. 

I take it that he seems to be in a good mood after the exam merely because he is toking.  He's just high man, pure and simple.  Also, he's happy because he got is car back.  And oh yeah, how can I forget.  I assume by the fact that Creedence is playing that it means that he actually recovered his Creedence tapes.  Which the authorities had not held out much hope for. 

Its possible that he didn't know, OR, its possible that he knew, but had coitus with her thinking he got away with dropping a load of dude like sperm in Maude without achieving conception AND damn near chocked on his drink when he found out that Maude had other plans with his load using Yoga to "help conception along a bit."

But then again the Dude did tell Da Fino that "She's not my special lady, she's my fucking lady friend. I'm just helping her conceive, man!"

I wouldn't think he was bi, because he spent most of his time avoiding a trip to the doctor, of course Maude never mentioned he'd be having a hand job by a male doctor, but she did mention that he was thurrah. Am I wrong, am I wrong.

Bi? The story is ludicrous! I doubt that Walter, and I think he would know, would hang around with the dude if he knew the ole' Duder was AC/DC.
