    • Anyone heard of the group Everclear?  Their name is based on a brand of alcohol that is legally sold I think only in Alberta and Quebec.  It's 100% alcohol... 200 proof.  Cheapest way to get sloshed; as a vodka substitute, I'd use less than half of the same amount of vodka for my screwdrivers and Caesars (a Canadian thing: clamato juice, dash of Tabasco, dash of Worcestershire, salt the rim with a combo of celery salt and pepper... stalk of celery. Invented in Calgary.  Yum!)

    • Funny though... vodka leaves my head clear, but Everclear puts me to sleep. Whiskey (or whisky) slurs my speech, and too much wine makes me aggressive, though I like the gradual stone!  Beer, well... beer just tastes good, 'specially German.

    Odd how these different forms of alcohol hit you in different ways.

    • This stuff hits like bourbon.
    Should have a warning label that says "May make you an asshole".
    If over indulged it's guaranteed to bring on a Rebel Yell followed by any number of bad decisions.

    Myself I've been doing good on rationing. 4 fingers on ice of bourbon (or this stuff lately) 1 maybe 2 nights a week.
    It's tough but as long as I stick to that I don't end up with regrets.
