What if c-a-t actualy spelled dog?

Fun facts, a perfect game was pitched in the pros, by a player on LSD. The discoverer of LSD continued to use it, for spiritual purposes, for the rest of his life, he died only a few years ago. The Double Helix, the key to understanding DNA and genetics, was concieved on LSD.

Did I ever mention how much I like tripping? Tripped my way through a fair portion of the 80's.

Never saw it. Also, stopped listening to popular music after the 70s. That's my age showing.

I do actually remember wondering at one time, what if each of us saw a different color when we looked at red? There's no way of knowing whether we see the same color because we've learned to call whatever color we're seeing "red."

That is a great conversation to have, on acid.

Well we only see a small fraction of the potential corors to begin with, and everything we experience is a construct of the mind. Like the eyes, they are not windows for the brain to see out of, they are more like digital cameras, sending electrical signals to the brain to process and construct an image of reality. I saw Niel Degrasse Tyson saying how those optical illusion books should be called brain failure books, because the illusion is really a failure of our brain to process the visual information correctly.

Cool. On the other hand, the brain adjusts what we see so we can understand it better. If someone puts on glasses that turns images upside-down, the person will eventually see them as right-side up. Aqueous humor is wavy and full of floaters, yet we usually perceive objects as having stable forms.

Dude, I want those glasses, and I wanna wear them while on acid.

Isn't like most of the actual light sensors, packed into one small area at the back of the eye, as in only a small part of what we see is actually detailed, the rest is like data compression, just enough sensors to pick up movement, but basically just what the mind makes up?

Not on excel it doesn't.

It does on the calculator but excel gives me 12345678987654300 for some reason.
