So what's the Dudeist standpoint on relationships? Like, for kids occupying various administration buildings, smoking a lot of thai sticks breaking into the ROTC and bowling. Is it worth the effort to find someone if you're feeling lonely or do I just put my shades on go into my school's bowling alley and abide?

Well, I'm married to my special lady friend, so that about sums it up for me. Though, I do head down to my local alley for a few rolls, a few beers, and some burgers.

I've personally spent the last ten years purposefully avoiding relationships.

Not really felt I could afford to be in a relationship until now.

Yes not just fiscally but time and emotion as well. Spent a while on medication due to a break down etc.

And I've gotten myself in a really awkward kind of unDude position with a ladyfriend of mine. She broke up with her Donny because of her own fucked up confusion and now she's looking towards me to date. I gotta admit, I really dig her. A lot. But I don't want to put a lot in this so I won't get really bummed out like last time. But when she told me she still digs her Donny, I was bummed regardless. Fucking hate feeling like this, and I'm stuck in my private residence because of the fucking Chicago snowstorm, man.

I used to head down to the local watering hole and knock but a few beers and watch some sports.
Shooting the breeze with brother Dudes often picks up the spirits but when it's a lady that's bumming you that can make it worse.
The best advice is some zesty enterprises with a special or even not so special lady friend.
