I didn't get this at first until I watched it again and realised the film is processing faster than a light wave is moving across the tomato.

Thing is whats the point of a camera this fast?

It seems so, yes. The camera can "stop motion" a beam or wave of light passing through or by something. Absolutely incredible! It can photograph something down to One Trillionth of a second intervals, fast enough to watch light in slow motion as it propagates through space. I find that mind boggling!
