Hmmm, kind of a church charity fundraiser, eh? Got to admit, I like the idea of it a lot more than I thought I would. I'm in.

(Maybe change the rules slightly, as I fear many of us dudes may be fiscally challanged... hmmmm... )

I think the basic idea you've got going there is fine. I only briefly browsed the kiva site but if I'm not mistaken the min loan amount is $25. I think most people who would be at all interested could manage to scrape up that much. Even if they have to borrow a ten from their roommate or ladyfriend. That's very generous of you to front the prize like that.

I don't get it. How do I sign this? Is there a special pen?

You know that the biggest team on Kiva has about 10,000 members, here there are about 80,000 self verified dudes , I reckon we could be the top Kiva team within a week..

what do you all think ?

Hey fellas, just added $1000 to the kiva pot with the earnings from the Dude De Ching. Article about it here:
http://dudespaper.com/dudeism-coms-real-life-little-lebowski-urban-achievers-fund.html/

Join in and lend! You can get your money back after the loan is paid (99 percent of all kiva loans are repaid) or you can reinvest it again. You've got practically nothing to lose.
