When I realize my dream of having a very Dudely piece of land here , we can totally build a Dudeist church on it. Cob and rammed earth houses are big out here. I'd love a rammed earth house. Warm in winter, cool in summer...woodstove..ahhhh
I picture the "church" as more of a rammed earth hut where one can go and smudge, meditate, or do as one pleases to connect with our Dudeness....maybe get a bathtub and a cd player in there...

In humour, however, i can picture the stained glass windows..one of Donnie, Dude and Walter at the bar....one of the Dude in his robe,...one of Dude in his Maude-dream dance gear...lol

I like the idea of having at least one, but I don't think its necessary.  I think we can make due meeting at local bowling joints, bars, or what have you.

I'm not sure if I'd want one on my property, its like, you know, a private residence.  And I'd like to keep it that way.  An official church needs to have an open door policy.

Why not a bowling alley? A bona fide alley, we could pitch in and and buy one, run it as a non profit, ya' know give to charity like. But have like a temple on the side, maybe? It would be more like a Dude Meca, a museum, a bowling alley church thingy.

Or keep it closed like, like a Masonic Lodge, but that seems undude.
I don't know just tossing it out there.

A Bowling Alley.

Ok, the point I am trying to make is Lebowskism and Dudeism are all about takin' er easy, Bowling, and not over complicating shit...and Bowling.

I mean, does the world really need another fuckin' church? But dude, there are dude like bowling alleys all over the place. I ask you dude, what would make a better Dudeist Church than a bowling alley?

Churches mean buildings, buildings mean expenses, money, structure, an organization, politics, power struggles, rules and all the shit that comes with it.

Dudeism, on the other hand, is a thing of the heart, the soul and life. The moment you begin to build structure and an organization around it the focus of attention is the growth,  propagation of the organization and stability of the structure. All of which is why today's churches are cesspools of greed and mind fucking.

About the only buildings a dude needs is a local bowling alley to roll at and his humble pad to have some fucking privacy to help his lady friend conceive.  The only religious elements a dudes needs to tie his pad together is a micturated free rug.

I can hear it coming from the pulpit...........

WE WANTS THE MONEY, LEBOWSKI, OR VE FUCKS YOU UP!

No dudes, I humble submit that a dudeism church would be a fucking disaster. We are ourselves the church.
