I'll be honest, I don't expect much feedback from this, but I need to rant. Hell, it's not even a rant, more like a gripe. I'll start by saying this: I'm sure we can all agree that prejudice against Anybody is generally an activity we abstain from as Dudeists. Right? We can agree that just because a person is a certain ethnicity, or has a particular hobby, that it is their business and they don't deserve any flack for it, right?

That being said, when I go to post on a buddy's wall on Facebook, telling them how I'm sorry they're suffering from insomnia and I hope they're alright, I shouldn't have to worry about one of Their friends showing up in the comments and verbally bashing me because I like a TV show that they hate. What's more, the friend I'm trying to comfort actually took the time to take a jab (albeit a small teasing one) at me for the same reason.

Ordinarily, my friend and I have an understanding, so I wouldn't normally care about the joke, since I know them. But A: I was trying to CHEER THEM UP since they felt like shit. And B: I don't even know who this Human Paraquat buddy of theirs is! A complete stranger slung nasty insults at me on my friend's wall for the world to see all because he didn't like a TV show I like! And my friend took the time to join in, then told me I was being RUDE when I calmly told the guy to fuck off because I wasn't intimidated. Yeah. So now I'm listening to Arlo Guthrie songs and calming the fuck down. Just another internet fight, nothing I won't survive, but still, it just fucking sucks, ya know? Can't we all just get along? $:-\$

I'm with leopoldrose.... Fuck it. That's just the "Walter" coming out so to speak. Believe me, there are days that I see red over things, but at the end of the day most of it doesn't perpetuate events in the big picture so why sweat it. Some prick douche bag on your buddy's friends list shouldn't bother you that much. I try to dodge as many arguments as possible online. There are some guys that troll pretty hard just for a laugh and you gotta realize that they don't know you nor are they your friend. As for your buddy that was giving you shit for your show also... It is what it is. I spent time in the military and if you weren't getting shit, your weren't liked very much. Poke back and have fun with it. Tell the other guy to go Fuck himself, and just do you dude. No one else can do you better than you.

hey man, i hear you, i mean we dudeists are a minority, and i mean there are a lot of human paraquats out there we just gotta keep our zen, hit the lanes and whathaveyou, and someday new shit will come to light for these guys,

i mean i go through the exact same thing, a lot of my friends don't think dudeism is anything serious, a joke, if you will, and whatever, i just say that's just like their opinion man, and let it be, i try not to even be verbally aggressive in times like these man
