meekon5 dude, that sounds like a bitching dude-like job. A sort of fucking park ranger for a lot of cool stuff.

To be honest mate the basic tenant of a dba (Database Admin) is to set things up so they don't need to be involved. It's great I spend all my time working out ways that I wont have to do any more work on the systems I set up. After a while all I need to do is just check that the systems are still working.
