Been a crappy couple of days, had to tell myself, nothings fucked here dude, but things are getting fixed.

I'm guessing 4/20 is a date, but I'm not sure what the months are called after the 12th. December, followed by Craptemeber, Slacktober, Yoburary, Bovril... er...

I think, actually, they mean 20/04, being yesterday's date. But, errr... I remember 2004 and i'm not willing to relive that year, personally

I like the idea that everyone involved in it's origin was obviously so stoned they can't remember where it comes from, excellent (I would hail the Discordian one but last time I did that the whole server died for a few days but you know what I mean).

I adore the Grateful Dead and really enjoyed reading their early history in a book that has the flying eyeball on the cover (can't remember the title will dig it out when I get home this evening. I bought it as a teenager.

There is always the enevitable conversation amongst stone head friends of mine as to where and when you would go if time travel where true, I personally would go back to the early sixites (but at the age I am now so i can experience it properly), and live through all the beatnik and hippy phase going to Woodstock to end the whole thing off. in fact I think all the people that where at woodstock are actually time travellers that have all gone back to experience it.

I read a biography of the Grateful Dead many years ago now which was written by their manager Hugh Scully. It was an excellent read.

And why you clocks don't display mintures then hours then seconds

It is a strange and intriguing system you have, which has never really hindered me, as I was born on the 6th of June, so I'm 06/06 no matter which website I have to confirm my age with

Err, it was about a month ago they went forward, but they're talking about scrapping it (no that they haven't been talking about it for years). The general message is: "Fuck the Farmers! Who cares if they can't see what they're doing with that wheat thresher?".

And, as a lazy git, I'm fine with not having to change my clocks

It always amazed me that by simply turning the hands of our clocks we could make the Sun come up earlier...Amazing!
Sure beats just getting up an hour later or earlier...depending on the season.
