Hey we now have an easy way to hang out in the forum from your Android phone.

The Dudeism Forum app!

It's basically just an app version of the site, the same thing you see via the browser but it's convenient and it's free so why not?

Let us know how it works. Are there ads? I don't see them but there might be some. Which would suck.

Cool, a Dudeist App!

Some feedback; was looking over the instructions on installing it from a download (not installing from the Google App store "Play Store") and it says...

To do so, please open Settings, then choose Applications and make sure that the "Unknown sources" checkbox is checked.

But, on my Android device, the only section for Applications and their settings is the "Application Manager" and there is no checkbox to check "Unknown sources." This might be for an older version of Android? Mine is currently 4.0.4 which I just updated a couple of days ago.

Am I wrong or just an asshole?

It was moved in Android 4 versions. Go into your Settings and go to Security. You should see it there under Device Administration.

I must have the unDude version on my Galaxy 7.0 ( though it does work on my Galaxy 10.1)

My screen looks like this under Security and Device admin on my 7.0 .........

Yep, works fine. Don't know if I would call it an app, just a shortcut really. Oh, and the new navigation button at the top solves so many problems dude. Oat soda is on me :)

Just thought of a link that may be useful: one that brings up a list of threads you have authored. I can never remember where I started the new amsterdam connection thread which I use for life in holland updates.

Just thought I'd add when you use the iphone bookmark app thingy to do as the instructions say and log in first as the app will always log you in automatically. It works and saves a hassle. Not sure if this means you are always logged in though?

I'm trying the app out now.. looks nicer than the Tapatalk app. And no ads!

Only thing missing really is the quick reply box. Hell, I can't even find the reply option at the moment. To write this reply I had to hit quote and delete a bunch of stuff.

Am I not seeing it? Where's it hiding? :)

I can't get smileys in any message I post from the mobile site. I'm using an iPhone so is there any settings I need to change?
